Our Core Initiatives
Empowering change for a brighter tomorrow
Youth
Education
Our foundation channels funds to support youth education in India where challenges remain stark despite progress. India’s overall literacy rate stands at around 80.9%, but nearly one in five adults is still illiterate, and educational disparities persist sharply between states and between urban and rural areas. Millions of children—over 1.1 million—remain out of school, and dropout rates rise significantly at higher levels of education. We fund scholarships, school materials, digital learning access, vocational training, and community programs to reduce these gaps, especially in underserved regions, so more young people can complete schooling and gain skills that lead to jobs and independence.
Old Age
Healthcare
India’s demographic transition is increasing the number of older adults, many of whom struggle with health and financial insecurity. Surveys indicate that more than half of elders (about 52%) face difficulty with daily activities, and over 54% suffer from two or more chronic diseases, including hypertension and diabetes. Nearly 65% report financial insecurity, which limits access to private healthcare. Our funds support free medical check-ups, essential treatments, medicines, assistive devices, and awareness of government health schemes like Ayushman Bharat, aiming to ensure dignified healthcare and daily living support for senior citizens across India.
Health &
Wellness
Even as healthcare access improves in India, gaps in preventive care and wellness persist. Public health spending remains modest relative to need, and many communities lack routine screening, nutrition support, and mental health services. Programs like vaccination drives and awareness campaigns still must reach millions in rural and peri-urban areas. Our funds back health camps, nutrition initiatives for women and children, hygiene and sanitation education, mental health support, and partnerships with clinics to expand basic healthcare access, helping reduce the burden of preventable illness and promote overall well-being.
Environment and Sustainability
Environmental challenges in India are both urgent and large-scale. According to the latest forest assessment, forest and tree cover now makes up about 25.17% of India’s geographical area, yet pressures from urban development, pollution, and climate change persist. India also generates significant quantities of solid waste and is among the top contributors to global e-waste generation, stressing the need for sustainable management. Our foundation invests in tree planting drives, water conservation projects, waste management education, community sustainability workshops, and campaigns that help local groups adopt eco-friendly practices. By doing so, we support healthier ecosystems and climate resilience for communities especially vulnerable to environmental degradation.
